The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited has submitted draft detailed project report to the Ministry of Railways for the Delhi-Varanasi high speed rail (HSR) corridor project. The project involves construction of an 865 km long HSR corridor from Delhi to Varanasi via Noida, Agra, Kanpur and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. It is estimated to entail an investment of Rs 526.8 billion.
